Family Outing to the Arboretum

We spent Saturday morning at the Arboretum and had a really good time. I take the girls there a lot, but this was the first time that Andy had been, and it's quite enjoyable having an extra set of hands. We were able to explore some areas of the Arboretum that we've never seen, thanks to the extra help! We discovered a section that now contains the original Santa Anita train depot that was donated by "Lucky" Baldwin and it was really cool! The kids had a great time climbing all over the tracks and I enjoyed looking at all the antique railway paraphanelia. The whole thing literally looked like an old-time movie set. We fed the ducks and fish, chased peacocks, climbed through a bamboo tree cave, and enjoyed the FABULOUS weather.
